Tales of a Singing Vacation
Time: Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 19:00 to 22:00
Place: Black Point area (RSVP for address)
Have you ever wanted to go on a vacation where you actually accomplished something? Lee Coulter and Doreen Berrington recently traveled to sunny Spain, where Lee spent a week rehearsing and performing a musical program with a local choir near the city of Cádiz. Join us while they share some vignettes and pictures from their experience. Learn how they discovered this opportunity, and find out what Doreen did in the old monastery town in Spain’s sherry region while Lee was rehearsing.
Presenters and travelers Lee and Doreen are Powell River superstars who have been involved in a wide range of local initiatives, including their church, PRISMA, refugee sponsorship, family services, the hospice society, the film festival, fine arts & weaving, the local museum, Townsite heritage, Townsite jazz, and, of course, several local choirs and ensembles.
