NEXT MEETINGS:
Topic: Europe Up Close – home exchanges & cycle tours
FRIDAY, May 11, Powell River residents Alison Barbour and Bob Butkus will offer a

reprise of their offering at VIU’s Elder College. The session will use discussion and personal photographs to show the Europe that is off the beaten track. Over the last 12 years, Alison and Bob and their camera have enjoyed nine bike trips throughout Europe and eleven house exchanges. Their presentation will introduce the real, intimate Europe beyond the crowded tourist areas. The session will also explain how you can visit this Europe, and where you can find relevant information.

And of course, the usual laughter, nibbles, and good conversation. To receive directions, please let us know you’re coming and anyone else coming with you. Address will be sent out the week before once we know how many are coming. Thanks. See you soon. (To see more about what the group’s about, check the description below.)
